Nikon Coolpix S9500 Review
The Nikon S9500 is a very stylish digital compact camera. The camera is tiny but has many features which give the result of your snap like a professional one. The quality of the picture is great with 18.1 megapixel and 22x zoom super-telephoto lens which enable this ultra-slim camera to shoot from distance. It is also able to capture the target in a low-light condition due to its low-light CMOS sensor. Moreover, this small camera is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and GPS so that you can easily share your photos to your friends and relatives alongwith its exact location. You can explore your photos and videos on an interactive map and relive the adventure step by step, shot after shot. Instead of carrying a big, heavy and complicated camera while travelling, most customers prever Nikon S9500 which is more light, easy to carry, having many functionalities and the price is affordable.

Nikon Coolpix S9500 Review
Dave, from San Jose, already had the camera and certainly enjoyed it. The flash of the camera works well and takes good pictures with vibrant colors when the condition of the light is good. All camera functions works properly and easy to operate since the menu system is well designed. He likes the GPS features and 3D modes and panorama as well. He also specially praised the 22x zoom which enable him to shoot close up from afar.
Joseph Albanese, one of the user of Nikon S9500 from New York, proudly gave his honest commentary as follows:
With 18 megapixels and a 22 x zoom lens, the Coolpix S9500 is another winner in Nikon’s line of digital cameras.
As with earlier models, the S9500 is sleek and thin, it can easily slip into your pocket or the smallest of bags without causing clutter, but only the size is small – the rest of the camera is legendary.
Easy to use (Point and Shoot mode or a phlanx of shooting options), you don’t know where to start when looking at Nikon’s latest Coolpix. The 18.1 mp’s are quite impressive and the shooting results are nothing less than extraordinary. The CMOS allows shooting in very dim light without any loss in end product results. And, of course, the camera still maintains the hallmark excellence of the Nikkor lens – probably one of the finest lens that is on the market today.
But Nikon has not rested on just those remarkable laurels – they’ve moved with the times (as always) so the S9500 has a relatively easy WiFi function. Coupled with a free app (I am using an iPad where the app is called NIKON WMU (wireless mobile utility)), you can immediately transfer your photos from the S9500 to a tablet, your phone or computer. No wires or patching required before you are posting your beautiful photos onto Facebook or any other social network!
There is also a built-in GSP that I am still toying with – living in New York City it is active but has not found (or can’t find because of the buildings) a satellite signal. But that doesn’t take anything away from the ease of use, fantastic photos and sturdy construction of the S9500.

Nikon COOLPIX S9500 Product Features
The size of Nikon S9500 is very slim that you can put it in your pocket. Unless the zoom is activated, you can put it in your shirt pocket without feeling any disturbance on your chest because the weight is light too. Though small in size but it is stylish, good looking and easy to use.
A 22x zoom NIKKOR lens and its range of 25mm to super-telephoto 550mm (35mm equivalent) is both wider and longer than any other cameras of its’ class. It can shoot an image close-ups in an instant though taken from distance range. In addition to this, the Vibration Reduction keeps the shot steady so you don’t have to worry if your hand is not well trained to snap calmly. Certainly tripod won’t bother you while using this camera, because you don’t really need it.

With the built-in Wi-Fi you can easily send your photographs, email it or share it in an online social network. While built-in GPS will enable to record the exact location of the place where you have taken the image.Built-in mapping and Electronic Compass also helps you navigate unfamiliar destinations, and Points of Interest (POI) show you nearby photo-ops like scenic lookouts and historic landmarks. Yes there’s a report from some users that when the videos uploaded directly to Facebook they did not look as good as they did on the camera or computer. But If you upload the videos to YouTube and then from YouTube to Facebook they look great.
Latest CMOS technology
The 18.1 megapixel 1/2.3 inch CMOS image sensor alongwith back-illumination enable the camera to reach high ISO values at this resolution and avoiding noises. The image will be shown in detail and the camera can be used in a low light. Some users do not use the flash very often.
